We are the community of Cypriots and friends of Cyprus living in Japan. Our mission is to grow a vibrant community while bringing the people of the two countries closer together.
Our community is entirely run by volunteers and aims to be a helpful point of contact for Cypriots living in or visiting Japan and for Japanese wanting to connect with Cyprus.
We are the community of Cypriots living in Japan, Japanese interested in Cyprus and all Friends of Cyprus in Japan.
We don't have accurate numbers, but estimate there are between fifty to one hundred Cypriot citizens living either short term or long term in Japan. This includes students mainly doing post-graduate studies in Japanese universities, professionals working in Japan and people who have settled with their families in Japan.
There is a core community of 10 - 15 people currently but we think the majority is not connected yet, hence we have created this site to help bring everyone together and grow the community. Please Join Us if you are living in Japan or even if you are visiting for a short time.
